It’s Jeremy Hunt himself! He has donated over £100,000 to his own campaign in a desperate bid to be re-elected.
We can debate whether it’s fair for a wealthy MP to bankroll their own association, while others cannot afford to do so, but for the moment this is what we’re up against.
Don’t worry, we’re not asking for £100,000 – a frankly obscene amount of money to spend on self-promotion. But we do need to fight against this.
